ProVision is the largest independent optical group in Australia. They assist their member optometrists to meet their professional objectives and grow their business via a unique format that enables them to retain their independence and ownership.


Optometrists Association Australia is the peak professional body for Australian optometrists. The Association represents over 3800 members (95% of all practising optometrists). The Association (formerly the Australian Optometrical Association), was formed as a national body in 1918. The Association is committed to assisting optometrists deliver quality eye and vision care services across Australia.


Optometry Giving Sight is the only global fundraising initiative that specifically targets the prevention of blindness and impaired vision due to uncorrected refractive error – simply the need for an eye exam and a pair of glasses.


Formally the Victorian College of Optometry, the Australian College of Optometry provides world class Optometry education.


The Orthokeratology Society of Oceania (OSO) is dedicated to promoting research, professional development and networking in the orthokeratology field since 1984. On this site you will find all you need to know about the OSO, and the exciting field of orthokeratology – a non-surgical means of correcting vision while you sleep.


The Cornea & Contact Lens Society of Australia (CCLSA) is dedicated to promoting research, professional development and networking in the cornea and contact lens field.


The East Timor Eye Program (ETEP), established July 2001, is a program targeted to make Timor Leste self-sufficient in the provision of eye care by 2015 and to completely eradicate preventable blindness by 2020. The ETEP is working to achieve its mission through a combination of service delivery, capacity building and infrastructure development activities.


On behalf of 60 member organisations, Vision 2020 Australia leads advocacy efforts and raises community awareness about good eye health and vision care. Established in October 2000, Vision 2020 Australia is part of ‘VISION 2020: The Right To Sight’, a global initiative of the World Health Organisation and the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness.
